We did it!
You didn't just fund this book... you raised enough to add a ton of bonus features and enhancements! The final Vote Dog books will sport spot gloss, extra illustrations, and a bunch of brand new bonus comics. (In fact, one backer has asked to purchase the second crowd scene original, which pushes us over 25k and secures one more bonus comic!) Hooray!
Thank you so much for supporting my project. That's coming from me and the real life inspirations for President Dog and Baker: Mac and Dipper. Woof!
1) First, Kickstarter will collect your pledges. In fact, they probably have already done so! A handful of pledges will be declined due to billing errors... if yours is one of them, don't panic! Kickstarter will notify you when you log in, and give you seven days to update your info before cancelling your pledge. If you have any troubles whatsoever, just send me a message!
2) In a couple of weeks, I'll launch our project's Backerkit page! Backerkit is the service I use to manage backer orders... it will let you provide and/or update your shipping address, and also indicate which add-ons (if any) you wanted to get. It will also let you buy additional add-ons, if you decide you'd like to get more than you originally pledged for!
3) Our estimated month for shipping the finished books is December, but my goal is to get it ready sooner than that. I will keep you posted as I finish all the new comics we're adding, and as the book moves through the various stages of production. Woo!

Wow! Since my last post, three more stretch goals have been secured... new illustrations, a special foreword, and a bonus Space Wizard Baker comic will all be added to VOTE DOG!
And we still have six hours to go! So with all our other goals hit, I'll tell you what... if we keep raising additional funds, I'll just keep adding more bonus comics to the book. SO THERE.
In other news, I finished inking the second half of the crowd scene! I still need to colour it, but here's how it looks when combined with the first page in its incomplete state:
I am pretty sure I included at least one animal from everyone who made a suggestion! (Although some might not be immediately clear until the drawing is coloured.) Once it's finished, maybe I should go through and label each animal!
The full crowd scene will be included in the book... but a fun mini print of the full piece will also be included with every gilded pack! So if you'd like a small version you can hang up, that's the way to go.
And last but not least, if anyone is interested in buying the original art of page 2 for $350, message me and let me know, and I can get it to you as a Kickstarter add-on that helps contribute to our stretch goals! It's 11x14. (Page 1 has already been sold.)
